Monaco Women Forum

Organized by the journalist Cinzia Sgambat-Colman, the 6th edition of the Monaco Women Forum, Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, took place on March 24th 2023 at the One Monte-Carlo in Monaco.

This 2023 edition theme was «  global and transversal impact of the digitalisation and technology in our society ». All participants have exchanged their own expertises and progresses done in the cyber- security, the technology for health, finance as well as the virtual economy for the smart city development.

The women role was the key element of these meetings and, furthermore, to insist to promote the access and the equality of women in these high-tech fields, by empowering and raising awareness the entire society for the education and transmission of these high-tech technologies and new social behaviour.

Leanne Robers, founder and president of « She Loves Tech Global » in Singapore, highligthed all difficulties women were facing in these fields. Within 72 countries, she set up an eco-system for supporting them with more than 300 M USD to help them in their innovative companies in the health, finance, climate change and even more business sectors.

Manila Di Giovanni, graduated of University International of Monaco – IUM-, founder and general manager of DWorld Monaco, has presented his own business as CEO of her own metaverse company.

Veronica Iacovacci, from Bio-robotics Institute Sant’Anna » in Italy, explained the digitilisation of medical applications and means used for financing research thanks to the public support but also crowdfunding.

Maria-Teresa Minotti, manager of PayPal, Italy, has testimonied about the increasing public interest for online-transactions and the generated cyber-security requests.

Laurent Marochini, Head Innovation of the Société Générale, Luxemburg, talked about crypto-currencies and the consumer behaviour, and more specifically the personal data protection.

Zimi Sawacha, mecanical ingineer and biomédical doctor, associated professor at the information ingineering department of the Padoue University, has presented his research on bio mecanic of the human motion and futhermore the use of artificial intelligence for desaease preventing of the athletes, but also the musco skeletal modeling for the Parkinson’s disease or the bio mecanical foot for preventing from diabetes. She is also founder of a start-up for a patent to fellow  the lower limb muscle alteration with the people suffering from diabète and post-stroke.

This 6th edition of the Monaco Women Forum ended with a Gala dinner while H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco and H.S.H. Princess Charlène of Monaco awarded the winners of the 11th Edition of the Price "Monte-Carlo Woman of the Year".
