Monaco National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai

On Saturday 13 November, the Principality of Monaco was honoured with a National Day at  Expo 2020 Dubai.

H.S.H. Prince Albert II, H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie and the Official Delegation visited the Monaco Pavilion in the company of Her Excellency Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy, the Managing Director for Expo 2020 and Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.

The official ceremonies began in the morning at the Al Wasl amphitheatre, with the flag-raising ceremony, national anthems, speeches by the authorities and a concert by the Orchestra of the Palace Guards.

H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and the Official Delegation visited the Monaco Pavilion before heading to the United Arab Emirates Pavilion and then the Leadership Pavilion for the rest of the celebrations.

There were several other highlights of Monaco’s National Day: a circus performance by the Monte-Carlo Festival, a concert by the Orchestra of the Palace Guards and a performance of Jean-Christophe Maillot’s "Core Meu" by the Ballets de Monte-Carlo
