After two years of lockdown due to the Covid 19 sanitary pandemy, the Principality welcomes again the 45th edition of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, from January 20th to 29th 2023.
After two years of lockdown due to the Covid 19 sanitary pandemy, the Principality welcomes again the 45th edition of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, from January 20th to 29th 2023.
Founded in 1974, by Prince Rainier III, very fond of circus, this Festival is one of the most prestigiuos world events. Every year, the best selection of international circus teams is welcomed to Monaco for the joy of many spectators and with a worldwide TV coverage.
This Festival is also a competition: an international jury evaluates the various shows of the artists. The Palmarès is made of many prizes among which the most prestigious are the ones of Gold , Silver and bronze Clowns.
H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie is the President since the death of Her father in 2005. She is also the Honorary President of the World Circus Federation which represents worldwide the circus teams and schools and to preserve the values and traditions of the Circus Arts and of course to promote the development .
This year, the Gold Clown was won by the acrobats trio who presented a spectacular show of horses walker conducted by René Casselli Jr, his sister Marrylu and his wife Quincy Azzario.
